The Challenge: This graduate school project centers around a fictional exhibition titled “Mauvaises Femme” (Bad Women), which celebrates women who challenged gender roles from the 15th to the 17th century. The aim of this project is to reframe historical gender issues for a modern audience, bringing past defiance into contemporary relevance.
